Biolytics AI **(in stealth-mode), Amsterdam – (Nov. 2021 - now)
Biolytics AI brings data science to life by developing models, data engineering, and strategy frameworks to help biotech, pharma, and healthcare-software companies to optimize patient treatments.
- Led the development of a scalable cloud data platform for a biotech scale-up (Lumicks) to support their R&D efforts by enabling researchers to easily upload and annotate terabytes of experimental data and allowing data scientists to easily query, analyze, and share insights.
- Development of privacy-preserving explainable AI for an EHR company (GeriMedica) to predict the care necessary for elderly patients. Included implementation of a statistical framework to counter the risk of privacy violations ensuring compliance with AVG regulations.
- Mentored an MSc Econometrics student in writing a thesis about privacy preservation in healthcare AI, yielding the student an 8/10 overall.
- Developed a statistical modelling and analysis framework for measurements of immunotherapy efficacy for a biotech scale-up’s (Lumicks) z-Movi instrument R&D.
- Advised on and developed a statistical framework for a collaboration between a hospital (Santeon) and a pharmaceutical company (Roche) to measure the confidence in the gap in the efficacy of immunotherapy between clinical trials and real-world patient data.

BAKEN.AI, Amsterdam – (Mar. 2020 - now)
At BAKEN.AI we unlock your data, and leave the keys with you. I'm responsible for developing our technological stack to best fit our client's needs.
- Developed a data platform to integrate and synchronize HR, finance, and smart-lock software systems for a large daycare company (NatuurFontein), saving the company 1 FTE in tedious administrative work.
- Advised the NBA (Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants) on strategies for technical auditing of valuations made by AI systems.
- Development of the Baken.AI Platform, a platform that collects economic data, transforms this into dashboards, and distributes these in a secure cloud environment to insurance companies.
Data Scientist/Analyst

Baken Adviesgroep is a Data Science consultancy firm employing macro analytic-trend analysis to gain market insight for insurance companies. I worked on:
- Research and analysis of the demographic profile of consumers, to increase household penetration of a life insurance company's (VIVAT) wealth accumulation products by 20% over a three-year period.
- Development of Baken Adviesgroep’s cloud data platform which automates data collection for reports on the insurance market, providing technical expertise to ensure all data is collected in a timely and accurate manner.
- Implemented an economic data aggregation and visualization API for an insurance company’s internal dashboard to provide sales representatives in different branches with real-time market insights.
- Development of a calculation tool API to determine sick leave pay for an insurance company (De Goudse).
Data Scientist Intern Health Outcomes Lab
Roche, Woerden – (Mar. 2020 - Sep. 2020)
I developed a machine learning methodology to analyze a real-world EHR dataset of 60.000 patients with non-small cell lung cancer to predict their survival outcomes, and implemented explainable AI to gain insight into which pharmaceutical properties are desirable and for which patients the drugs will be effective.

NOMNOMNOM.AI is a web app that transforms the way people discover new restaurants. Leveraging an interactive session-based recommendation engine, the platform enables users to find the perfect restaurant for any occasion. I build web scrapers, designed UI/UX, developed the recommendation engine, and pitched it to potential investors.
